This is my 24 Navi with a few mods. First thing, sorry about the odd sound issues about half way through, I think my GoPro mic is on its way out... Main reason for the video is to show it with the 12" wheel which is and easy job. And also to show the new exhaust and take you through the fitting of it. Hit up Frank Smoke in any of the Navi forums and he will be able to hook you up with one, he's...

Have been foiling since 2020 but had a long lay off over the last year or so, so am picking up where I left off.. The good news is that the previous work I did locking in my jibe and being able to ride either stance comfortably have proven to serve me really well in DW and wave riding. is this a chest cam?
Hi yes it is.
Glad you had better luck with Frank Smoke exhaust than I did. Out the money with no exhaust. Great looking Navi.
I would sub but I already ammmmm,,, ;)
Do you have any contact information that will not be published here privately so that I can contact you?
Hi dave May I know how much your exhaust pipe costs? Are you helping others modify it? I asked some car dealers. Their wheels and exhaust pipes are very expensive. Can I ask you to install the exhaust pipe? I like the sound of your exhaust pipe
Hello there, the Smoke is $300 US posted. I do believe Frank is sending me another one soon to keep here incase others wish to buy. I can help fit it with for sure, where are you located?

Hey, the US 5 comes with two straps that go under the seat.. I fitted the forward one loosly then the rear which goes behind the seat lock pin andn the tightened both down, popped the seat back on.. should be ok.... let me know how you go..
Hi Bro, what is the rear tire you had mounted there ?? did you increase to 160?
Hey, it’s a Motoz Adventure tyre, no stayed 150…
Racing lines are good bro,, nice win !
I have never seen so many ohvales in real life on atrack maybe 1. And usually eating everything else alive if there is video. Not as cool as this with more evenly matched bikes without totally newbies at the controls I envy the night ride under the lights. Been riding 4 years and only been to tracks that have this 4x in all that time. Totally stoked to see this.
Hey thanks, it’s fun for sure..
Can I ask you to tell us what tires you purchased as I do like that tread pattern . I already have the 12 rear wheel . I personally went with the stock fairing and just added a clamp-on 4" higher screen. the wind now hits the top of my shoulders leaving just my head exposed. I also got the stock rear rack which is tiny . I have also purchased a second Navi lock box , (note comes with lock and key oddly no lock cylinder retention "clip"). I intend to mount it on the rear rack haven't figured out what orientation yet . I did like how your quiet that exhaust system sounds Canada 🇨🇦 EH ! . But I like the S23 exhaust system from ScooterSwapShop USA under $300 . I also did rectifier battery swap and added a battery tender as well a digital tachometer also . Swapped out the headlight for an Led , honestly best mod now I can see everything perfectly and well be seen by everyone else . I have received the mollissi. variator to install . My top speed is 85 klms at 4500 klms on the odometer . I am interested if you gained any top speed with the bigger rear tire . Rolling Wrench USA also have a rev delete kit replacement for coil and plug wire , it's plug and play to "unleash the beast" I also bought the Honda XR150L I am waiting for the new big bore kit cly&piston making this a 222cc doubling the power . I am getting 34 klms/ L on the XR150L . I hear you down under have access to the XR190L . The seat on the XR150L is almost as comfy as my GL1800 Thanks for the video's nice job . Please feel free to comment .
Hey mate, some Good mods there… the tyres on mine are Heidenau K58. They’re pretty hard to find here in Aus so had to actually buy them from Italy… you may be more lucky in the US.. Speed wise, I can hit between 90 and 100 on the Speedo now, hence rejected 38/88 and also added 9g sliders too, accelerates much better with those. I want to upgrade my clutch to an NCY, I’m planning to order that today actually…
Hey love the build! What number tires are/where you using? Love the small details you've done to the Navi good little platform to experiment with
Hey there. Thanks for the message. The tyres are Heidenau K58 - 110/70-12 front and rear.
dayum this baby wilder than the grom! how much cc is it stock?
Haha, ye she’s a step up.. this is a 190 and it’s tight!! 😊
its crazy how low u can go on a curve with the grom, it even look like u drift it the whole time🤣. i cant even do that on mine😂
Haha, definitely not drifting… I’m not that talented lol. I’m running Pirelli Diablo slicks so grip is amazing…
No disrespect but why not ride a regular motorcycle?? You'll see that this is a waste of money when you are bored with a scooter in a few weeks. Top speed of what 40? 50?
Thx, have a look at my other bike videos and you’ll see I very much do.. this just a bit of fun.. my wife can ride it as its no gears and it sits quite nicely on the back of the camper.. I like to modify stuff.. Why be the same as everyone else.. That’s just boring. ;-)
@dwninetynine I get it. 3 bikes in my garage. It's an obsession at this point.
With 4 motorcycles 2 bicycles 1 electric 2 boats 2 snowmobiles 1 SUV and my favorite 1970 GTO Convertible to my luck I stand by the statement . Variety is the spice of life so just except your fate and enjoy . 65 years young and the end is coming quickly .

Are you using a helmet mount? Did they let you use one?
Hey, I actually use a chest mount... Theyre happy for me to use it in practice but I did get roasted for using it in a race... (the highside one actually lol) so yeh, practice only now..
sometimes it looks so fast like its on 2x but maybe due to Hyperview, did you try superview as well?
I know this video is old. But I have that exact EVO. Have been exploring surfing it with a longboard fin. What fin did you use for these conditions
Hey there, congrats on owning an awesom board, loved my EVO.... I these vids I will have been using an FSC 8.5" orange surf fin, the quick insert screwless one.. I also used either an FCS Slater Trout or Eric Terrein but there more for DW and flat water... Enjoy and thanks.... :-)
I ended up getting the largest True Ames California Classic fin. Should be good for down the line and smooth turns. First outing next week.
Yea, no. Cant listen to the same one line of that awful song over and over the entire video.

@dwninetynine thank you for the reply, I'm 6ft but I'm still thinking it'll be fun lol.
Like to see everyone running stock off the showroom floor with the exception of tires and exhaust. A person’s body weight could make a difference.
It’s a very good point.. But sadly you’ll never get it.. I’ve raced single make championships on bigger bikes where they’re meant to be stock but it’s never the case…
Hi thats the most beautiful camera angle i saw ever on the gp2. Can you please send a link in comment which holder this is? And at which height do you wear it at the breast or below? Which go pro is that

Hi, 8 klicks from Close Position?
Just needed this video again after my 22 battery died on me. Thanks buddy!
Welcome mate.. 😊
Funny to see a reversed rear tire. I used to do this all the time just to screw with people's minds. The have a directional arrow as that's how the rubber is overlapped in the mold. But if your bike doesn't have much power, it doesn't matter!
Haha, I used to reverse them when I raced SuperSports too... Gotta get your moneys worth lol.. 🙂
I changed the stock paper air filter on my Monkey to the Takegawa Power filter, which is also available for the Grom. I've not done an ECU reset and have ridden already 600 miles. I want to do an ECU reset. Does it suffice to only do what you showed, or do I also have to reset the throttle position and the other resets that are in the manual?
Would be a good idea to do all For sure pal…
God, the music is horrible
Hey quick question for ya! What is the name of that windscreen? Looks sick!
What gears are you running
Std front and a 35 rear
great weather for sharks
Haha yeh sure is.. not a huge risk in Port Phillip Bay of a big one, not to say it’s never happened but it’s rare… I feel a lot more exposed down on the surf coast outside the bay for sure..
Is the video actual speed?
Haha yes absolutely.. why does it look slow? 😂
@@dwninetynine looks more human at 0.75x 🤣
lol, you think.. these little bikes are definitely full on haha…
Hows the reliability on the dhm 149
Awesome.. Ive actually sold the bike now to a friend but its still goung strong.. I raced it and did a number of track evenings with it and it never missed a beat, notably I had the bike custom tuned to accomodate the upgrades including intake, ecu, injector, throttle body, oil cooler, cam etc and all is still going well.. I was certainly not gentle with it and rode it hard pretty much from the get go, I gave it 30 minutes "run in" if you like... The bike could probably do with the uprated starter motor after mods like these, just fyi...
@0:50 The guy in front of you is lying on the handlebars. It's causing rider-induced wobble. You are applying throttle way late! @1:54 Finally applying throttle at the proper time @1:56 The Other rider has much shorter gearing allowing him to drive away. Downshift!! @3:14 Wrong gear, but apply throttle before you arrive. Do all turns like this! @3:19 Now! - apply throttle and drive through the corner, don't coast. @3:30 Now! @3:45 Now! Drive to the inside and power to the outside, brake get the front set down for the turn, apply throttle, turn and drive through the turn. @4:01 This was done much better. Applying throttle before the turn and driving through. Then the next turn you coast through the turn until you are way past the apex. @3:56 Leaning on the bars as you break causes this head shake. Dig in with your knees and use your core to keep your body where you want it. The bars are only for steering, not to hold you up. Sit on the bike, don't lay on it. @4:26 Finally got the bike up in the power band instead of bogging all race. Now you are holding the bars too tight and your throttle movement is throwing the bike everywhere. Roll off the throttle and roll it on. Be smooth. @4:29 Overshoot and snap the throttle off. Roll off the throttle slightly, drag the front brake early to get the bike to turn in, and maybe use a bit of clutch to stop the drive, but go easy on the throttle movement. Keep the engine spinning! @4:34 Same, keep the engine spinning, but roll off and roll on. @4:56 Excellent drive to the corner. This will make the bike sit, be stable, and accelerate. You should do this in every corner. @5:09 Bogging the engine and going through the corner slowly. Giving it full throttle while leaning over and the back comes around. Remember: If you don't crash once in a while, you are not trying hard enough. A helmet cam is a great tool to learn. At the start, how early did they get on the throttle? What were they doing that made them faster through the turns. These bikes have small engines so time is made by keeping your speed up at all times. The engine is bogging almost everywhere. Your engine should be at full revs 2/3 of the way down the fastest-longest straight.
Appreciate the tips, thank you.
